Sabancı University Students explore Cutting-Edge Cybersecurity Trends.

0n 11.12.2024, Sabancı University’s Civil Involvement Project groups hosted an insightful seminar, bringing together students and experts to discuss pressing topics in cybersecurity. The event featured a detailed presentation on the EU-funded ENCRYPTON project, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at advancing the field of cryptology and enhancing digital security.

The seminar included presentations by prominent experts in the field: Prof. Dr. Albert Levi, who spoke on IoT security; Dr. Arsalan Javeed, who addressed the question “Are passwords safe?”; and Prof Dr. Erkay Savas, who explored trends in cybersecurity and cryptology. Their contributions provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and innovations shaping the digital security landscape.

During the seminar, participants delved into crucial questions such as “Are passwords safe?” and explored emerging trends in Internet of Things (IoT) security, cryptology and cybersecurity trends.
