0n 11.12.2024, Sabancı University’s Civil Involvement Project groups hosted an insightful seminar, bringing together students and experts to discuss pressing topics in cybersecurity. The event featured a detailed presentation on the EU-funded ENCRYPTON project, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at advancing the field of cryptology and enhancing digital security.
The seminar included presentations by prominent experts in the field: Prof. Dr. Albert Levi, who spoke on IoT security; Dr. Arsalan Javeed, who addressed the question “Are passwords safe?”; and Prof Dr. Erkay Savas, who explored trends in cybersecurity and cryptology. Their contributions provided a comprehensive overview of the challenges and innovations shaping the digital security landscape.
