With an ERC Advanced Grant, Ingrid Verbauwhede and her team at KU Leuven are aiming to revolutionise cryptography with computing on encrypted data. This will allow calculations on data without needing to decrypt it, thus enable secure operations on sensitive information. 

Ingrid Verbauwhede is part of the Computer Security and Industrial Cryptography (COSIC) research group which received 6 ERC grants to date. Verbauwhede herself received so far already three ERC grants.
