The enCRYPTON KU Leuven Workshop on Research Data Management (RDM) was successfully held online via Zoom on October 25, 2023. The event featured Mark Verbrugg, an Information Specialist in Research, who provided valuable insights into the principles and best practices of RDM. Topics covered included legal and ethical issues, data collection, documentation and metadata, data storage, and data sharing, emphasizing the importance of standardization in research. Organized in collaboration with Sabanci University and KU Leuven, the workshop facilitated discussions on data management challenges and solutions, contributing to the broader goals of the Horizon Europe research and innovation program.
