Workshop on Applied Cryptography – Bringing Cryptography into Life

Two beneficiaries of the project visited Sabanci University to deliver a workshop under the title of “Workshop on Applied Cryptography – Bringing Cryptography into Life”.

The first workshop of the enCRYPTON project successfully took place on September 6, 2022, bringing together experts to discuss cutting-edge advancements in cryptography. The event featured insightful presentations, including talks by Prof. Ingrid Verbauwhede (KU Leuven, Belgium) on “Hardware: An Essential Partner to Cryptography (IACR Distinguished Lecture)” and Prof. Amir Moradi (Ruhr University Bochum, Germany) on “Simply Secure: Tools for Automated Generation and Evaluation of Protected Hardware”. The workshop fostered collaborative discussions, paving the way for future innovations in secure communication technologies.
